Future Bistro483 Bloor St WMay 25, 2026Very unique spot. It’s a bakery, a bar, a diner, a bistro - pretty much everything you can think of. Had a nice-sized slice of carrot cake, which was moist and sweet.

Food 8855 Sherbourne StMay 25, 2026Great service. The vegetable chow mein with tofu was tasty. Fried egg banh mi has no pâté so it’s missing a little something.

Homemade Ramen263 Spadina AveMay 25, 2026Highly recommend the tomato & egg hand-cut noodle soup and the Chinese broccoli - both so delicious! We also had a veggie hand-pulled noodle soup with tofu, which was really tasty but had a less flavorful broth. Scallion pancakes were a little dry.

Banjara Indian Cuisine796 Bloor St WMay 25, 2026Great vegetarian options. We tried a masala chai, the palak paneer, bendi masala, and navratan korma with rice and garlic naan. The spice level was lower than expected, so if you like spice, don’t be shy. Nice ambience at night with the twinkle lights. There are buttons on the windows next to each table to call the wait staff if needed.

Cafe Pamenar307 Augusta AveMay 25, 2026Boasts potentially the best chai latte I’ve ever had. I had mine with oat milk and it was wonderful. We also had loose leaf tea served in a charming infuser.

Zhang Liang Ma La Tang482 Dundas St WMay 25, 2026Great place to go for a cozy bowl of soup. Each patron creates a bowl of ingredients and then the staff add broth & cook it for you. All items are measured by weight so it’s a better deal if you trend towards dried foods & veggies. Tried the mushroom broth, which was not bad but also not very flavorful. Good service. Vegetarian friendly.
